Chanced upon an article on Shane Pow sometime back. To be honest, it is hard to tune into local TV nowadays because we are spoilt for choices with so many channels to choose from. Watch Diva, AXN, Fox,HBO, HBO classic, HBO signature....watch all buay woo liao.
So as fate had it, I decided to check out the birthday of this handsome young man who probably can be my son already (if puberty hit me earlier). Must go with the flow mah, like a lot of Shifus in my chosen field. Done this up last year - 甲午.
Shane Pow. 4th Oct 1990. Age: 24
Yang Water man. His personality is like a big ocean, forceful and energetic. Yang Water people are goal-oriented and will meet their goals with strong conviction. Therefore sometimes they can seem impulsive to others but really they are just eager to reach their next milestone. They are charitable and helpful to people, even strangers. Famous Yang Water men e.g. Warren Buffet and Bill Gates. You get the drift?
For those people like me, who watch international TV till buay woo one. Short info, Shane Pow is a Singapore Actor, a good looking man exuding with charisma. He is born in the year of the yang metal horse. Recently Shane was featured in local news, as his girl-friend had decided to break up with him due to a required passionate car scene with another female actress. The girlfriend, probably out of protective and territorial instinct, told Shane that if he went ahead with the scene, she will break up with him. Shane decided to call her bluff and went ahead, citing his career is his main focus right now.
So is career really important to him now? Or actually he don't care, kiss the girl first then say?

However, good thing is 卯Wood is his flower of romance and favorable element. With focus and determination, still got people rooting for him, supporting his fame and liking him! For artistes, flower of romance star is important for 人缘 (human attraction).
After that, catching a lucky break in 2012壬辰, Mediacorp recruited him as a mediacorp artiste, casted him on “It takes two” and this TV series helped him made his name. Dragon Earth being his power element, he gained public recognition and his status elevated to a Singapore celebrity. In 2013癸巳, both fire, his favorable elements and Shane won the “Best Newcomer Award”. Win liao!
But then, in 2014甲午, it seems like a lot of negative things happened to him and trying to take his attention off his real goal – to be successful in his career.
This possible due to the 3 energies clashes with his first pillar. However fire being his favorable element, the wooden horse landed him a role in variety shows which are actually watched by more people I should think....then the TV series. Also fire represents money and girls for Shane, in this year he will probably get a lot of attention from the opposite sex which also translated into $$$ i.e. the female writers or producers giving him roles. Not the naughty ones.
